Refund policy

We are fully CPA compliant.

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it,  unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns

We believe that you will be 100% satisfied with your product, but occasionally you may need to return an item.

• You can cancel your order and return it to us within 30 days of the purchase date if it is in its original condition, completely unused, and suitable for resale.
• You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us, and we suggest you use a secure delivery method that requires a signature upon delivery.
• Refunds are made within a week of an order being cancelled, and the goods are returned to us along with the original receipt.
• Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects and does not cover faults arising from poor or improper use.
• Goods found to be faulty can only be exchanged for the same product and cannot be refunded.

Refunds
“money back guarantee” is available, if you are not happy with the product upon arrival and before installation.  You must inform us within 10 number of days from delivery if you wish to make use of this guarantee.  

The Goods sold by Hush Echo are only returnable, at Hush Echo’s sole discretion, where the incorrect or defective Goods have been supplied or the Goods are unsuitable for a purpose stated by the Customer in writing to Hush Echo and confirmed in writing by Hush Echo to the Customer, substantially as intended in terms of Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act, or in terms of Clause 15 of the Terms and Conditions Section, and is such an instance the following shall apply:

• Unless alleged to be unsuitable or defective at time of use as contemplated in Clause 15 of the Terms and Conditions Section above or they have been installed per clause above, all goods returned must be complete, clean, sealed, undamaged and in their original packaging.
• The value of credit or refund for any returned goods will be calculated as per original invoice.
• Hush Echo must be notified of relevant, packing slip and delivery note before any claim will be considered.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@hushecho.co.za If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method or approved bank account. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like consumables or adhesives and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) We also do not accept returns for adhesive products such as double sided tapes. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
